A box of promises - Valentine's Day

Great Idea "A Box Of Promises" Give more than a gift on Valentines Day
Valentines Day can be a very special day in someone's year. If you have a boyfriend / girlfriend / husband / wife it's that one day to make an extra point of celebrating just how much your partner means to you.
Flowers are great , jewellery, chocolates, going out for a meal or on a romantic date night. Personalised gifts are wonderful, maybe something hand crafted with your partners name on it or in their favourite colour or style or using their birthstones even.
What is even better than a personalised gift just for Valentines Day is something that will show them the gift of your love all year long and here is a great idea to help you keep that promise…
Give your loved one the gift of an EMPTY BOX… !?
Well, almost… the idea is to get a small box and personalise it for the recipient.
Decorate it how they will like it whether that be by sticking pretty things to it or styling it as shabby chic, maybe add a photo montage or even keep it simple but use oodles of ribbon to tie it up with.
Add a gift tag to the box that you can make by cutting out a piece of card or paper and adding some ribbon and on the tag simply write "My Valentines Day Promise To You"
INSIDE THE BOX (Okay so it's not actually going to be empty but it's not just about the gift!) you can place a beautiful token gift such as a beautiful glass heart

and then fill the box up with folded up paper notes. On the little notes write personal messages. Your "Promises" to the one you love! That can be anything from just a few heart felt words to let the person know you love and appreciate them the whole year through to an invitation to go to the cinema or for a meal or for a romantic walk to be claimed as and when they want throughout the year.
This Box Of Promises concept will make a lovely gift for other occasions such as Mothers day and Birthdays too. Show someone you care for them all year round!
What do you like to do for your Valentine?:
