What to buy a man?

‘Neither use nor ornament’. No I’m not referring to men ... it struck me that much of what is displayed as gifts for men fall into this category.

Men are difficult to buy for; that is a fact known by all women.  They mostly buy what they need for themselves so come a birthday or Christmas we're desperate! A consequence of this is a plethora of gimmicky ‘gifts for men’ destined to be opened and forgotten until eventually they get passed on to the charity shop!

So what to do for a birthday or Christmas without breaking the bank?

By all means consider the man’s interests but think outside the box. If he likes growing flowers or produce in the garden then the chances are he would like to encourage pollinating insects so how about a Bee Hotel? A surprising and delightful gift.

Or for the utimate Big Boys Toy how about this affordable yet sturdy Extreme Fliers Micro Drone 2 which comes with a
camera? He can have the greatest fun while pretending he is doing someting useful, like checking the gutters.

Why do men get socks at Christmas? Answer: they are something always needed; a reliable last resort for the man who has everything.

Socks don’t have to be boring. Surprise him with our funky mismatched Solmate socks – useful and ornamental!

Or our handmade traditional  Turkish socks – great for wellie wearers!

Our Peach Perfect ‘For Him’ section is still small precisely because we don’t want to fill it with tat. However we are proud of our selection so far and we will keep looking. If you have any ideas then please let us know.
